Last weekend we held our annual native trees & shrubs planting event with Friends of Trees! We are super grateful for all the hard work or volunteers put in, as well as our ongoing partnership with Friends of Trees that made this event possible! Volunteers planted over 600 plants at Southern Lites Park along Mt. Scott Creek, including Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine, salal, osoberry, mock orange, and more.

At our planting last year, volunteers showed up and braved the snow to help us install native plants at the same park! This year, thanks to all the helping hands, we were able to get our plants in the ground before that classic PNW rain started falling!
